Office/Accounting Assistant Vacancy

Camano Cooperative Water and Power seeks a capable, part-time office assistant to perform daily office activities. The Cooperative’s office is open for business four hours per day, Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The ideal candidate shall be available 10 hours per week.
Accounting or bookkeeping background and familiarity with computerized accounting (Quickbooks) and billing programs is essential. Proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and effective letter-writing and communication skills are required. A positive approach to customer service is necessary as the Cooperative office is open to shareholders needing assistance.
The Cooperative compensates staff fairly, offers holiday pay, sick and vacation leave but no other benefits. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
